A plugin is a piece of software containing a group of functions that can be added to a website. They can extend functionality or add new features to your WordPress websites. Plugins can do anything from add Facebook and G+ buttons to a page, to finding related posts for readers, to adding Google Analytics into all of your WP content. While WordPress offers a ton of features and flexibility, there is still a lot of functionality missing from the core software. Plugins are used to enhance the functionality of a website. For security reasons, keep all plugin versions up-to-date, and make sure to keep your WP install itself updated, too. Themes provide the look and feel of the site with some form of functionality but advanced features are often where plugins come in. When you purchase hosting, you create a username and password for your account with the provider. Your username and password should be unique and extremely strong. You should also use 2 factor authentication with your hosting. Why is this important? Because no matter what Security Plugin you use, if an attacker can get to your server through you hosting account, they can cause havoc. Without thinking on security you can n’t launch a site on web because your all efforts without maintaining security your site will be vulnerable. So security is first concern obviously . There are many security plugins but along with these there are many best WORDPRESS PLUGINS also. You have to prioritize what kind of security parameters suits best for your business or personal website and based on that you can choose the finest option. Free, open source software is tremendously beneficial to a wide variety of businesses and websites. Of course, free plugins create a more user-friendly, convenient, and efficient experience. What do you do when plugins attack? Hackers like open source software and CMS as much as businesses do. It is easy for them to gather data and visitor information via a plugin or add-on. But you can’t stop using plugins. They do add usability and customization that may be crucial to your site. It is important, though, to do your homework before you download a plugin. What should you look for?

Just remember to exercise caution and be selective about your plugins. Take the few minutes necessary to check up on a specific plugin or developer and always be vigilant about security.

Great CONTENT is a key element in attracting the attentions of the search engines. So before you start tapping away at your keyboard it’s time to undertake a little research. This sort of behaviour doesn’t go unnoticed by the search engines who will downgrade your site accordingly and make you less visible to your target audience in the long run.

The key phrase to keep in mind is ‘target audience’. Do you know who you are aiming to reach? Do you have a good understanding of your customer base? If you don’t have a very clear picture in your mind of exactly who you are aiming your writing at then your literary arrows are almost certain to fall wide of the mark. You need to identify your market and understand their lifestyles, their hopes and their worries. Are they well educated scholarly types? Perhaps you are selling products aimed at medical professionals, for example. In this case your content needs to be pitched at an audience with a high level of medical knowledge. On the other hand if you produce medical products aimed at the patient then your approach needs to be completely different. You should assume little or no understanding of medical terminology and procedures and tailor your content accordingly.

Only through a thorough understanding of your customer base can you strike exactly the right note so don’t be tempted to gloss over this stage. Once you have a customer profile in place then you can pitch your writing so that it strikes the perfect note, ensuring a loyal readership.

JOOMLA is a free and open-source content management system (CMS) for publishing web content. It is built on a model-view-controller web application framework that can be used independently of the CMS. Joomla though has a learning curve and need few SEO stuff to take care, gives you these advantages

1. Inbuilt ACL: Joomla access control is far more advanced and has inbuilt support for not only core features but third party extensions as well. It automatically comes with larger sets of defined user classes and groups. However, you can totally customize them on every level and add as many as you want.

You don’t have to be public about what CMS you are using. With WordPress its quite easy to figure out the engine running your site from just browsing the front end. On Joomla you can keep its identity under rug and if you can tinker with backend themes and url structure, Joomla can be easily rebranded.

Modules are much awesome than widgets. Lots and lots of instances with lots and lots of options with lots and lots of positions and again ACL. All inbuilt. But if you wanna go all control freak, simply install advanced module manager.

Template Management is more liberal. While WordPress’ child theme feature gives you good enough options, Joomla allows you to use different templates all together. Example: You can create different instances of same theme in different colors and set them on different pages and layouts. The theme frameworks are so easy to operate too.
Also custom CSS classes lets you style any element differently from theme’s default parameters5.Multilingual: So far it has got over 60 translation packs — easy to deal with and quite decent. By installing a language pack you’ll translate the Joomla admin panel and the default front-end elements.
